"Television: Changing more than just the channel" —Roger will go through some of the major changes he's seen in his 37 years in local television.

[graphic dot]Roger Cornish has been involved with KWCH-TV News, Channel 12, in Wichita for over 35 years and news anchor there for over 25 of those years. Roger is a leader in the newsroom — the first to get in front of the camera to break-in with a story and the first to offer to post it to the web site. Roger has moved with the times, embraced technological developments and leads the way in the newsroom

We will have a Winners' Read Around after the banquet on Saturday afternoon, as well as other prime time reader rounds. Contest winners from the last two years will be able to read a three minute excerpt from their work.

  lf you are interested in an excursion to Stratica, the Underground Salt Mine Museum, please indicate so on your Registration Form and we will provide transportation. to be scheduled Friday evening for interested individuals. Cost would be $21.50 per person. More information will be provided to those who indicate an interest.
